Rhodes Airport is seeing more and more passengers, as tourists flock to this international vacation spot. Over three million passengers now pass through the Rhodes Airport each year. The airport stays busy year round, but is especially crowded during the summer months of April to October. Budget car rental is a good way to take in this breath taking coastal city.

Passengers disembark into a one terminal building at this small, yet bustling airport. Once inside one can easily locate available ATMs and currency exchange. The terminal also maintains a restaurant, bar, and cafe for passengers awaiting a departing flight. Pharmaceuticals may also be purchased, and duty free shopping outlets are located in the terminal as well.

For passengers conducting business while travelling, a VIP lounge is available with some services. Wireless internet access, however, is not available. Cheap car hire in Rhodes Airport may be arranged, as well as further travel arrangements at any of the onsite travel agencies.

A parking structure sits across from the terminal and is equipped for long term or short term parking. Passengers may also opt to be dropped off in front of the entrance to the terminal. Travellers with limited mobility may contact the airport in advance to arrange for a wheelchair to meet them outside.

Passengers can exit the terminal to awaiting taxis and be driven the short 16km ride into the city. Public transportation is also available 300m from the airport. Timetables will be provided by the airport information centre. The small isle can be easily navigated with well marked road signs as well should passengers opt to drive themselves with car hire.
